This question is not Ultimate 3D related so I moved it into the off-topic area. And here's the answer: The small triangle has a adjacent with a length of five and an opposite with a length of two. The quotient is 2,5. The big triangle has a adjacent with a length of eight and an opposite with a length of 3. Here the quotient is 8/3. The fact that 8/3 is unequal to 2,5 implies that the inner angles of the triangles are different. For that reason one of them doesn't match into the biggest triangle perfectly. This is covered by the fat outline. This unprecisision leads to the seemingly different area covered by the combinations of shapes. |
