Hi everybody,
I just saw that Game Maker 7.0 is now available at GameMaker.nl. Since I don't really use GM I am not that interested in it, anyway the new features may be useful  . At the moment there seems to be some kind of problem with the registration mechanism, because it didn't take my GM 6.x key, so I can't try the extension package feature, which is the only one I'm actually interested in ^_^ . If the extensions system is comfortable and flexible enough Ultimate 3D is going to become an extension package.
Hopefully this fusion with YoYo Games won't lead to an additional commercialisation of Game Maker. Well, in case it will, there'll still be GM 5.0. It can be used with Ultimate 3D (for free) and has not that many features missing :D .

Actually, a few bugs has been fixed in GM 7 that I'm particularly interested in (the decimal precision for one). I haven't started porting my project over (the .gm6/.gmk file systems are backward compatible anywys) since GM7's executables have a larger file size (ewww...) due to Vista support.

Oh well, ever since U3D v.2, I've kind of lost interest in GM's 2D side of things :P.

:U3D: :cow:
