Hey, everybody. I am Acevampire, I have been using Game Maker for about 6 years now, but I want to delve into 3D territory.

I found ultimate 3D, and I like it. I have A program called Poser. It is fairly expensive, and it makes really nice models. But it saves files to .pz3
Which...is not compatible with the .u3d conversion tool.

Does anyone know a way I can convert this .pz3 file into a .3ds file, which in turn, Ill be able to convert to a .u3d?

As far as I know, there should be some .3ds exporters for Poser out there. That's what I've heard at least, but I'm not sure. Do a google search, that always helps

Actually i believe Poser is able to export as an .obj. If not, download Daz-Studio, its free, it will load in your pz3 file and you can save out to .obj.

But then, u3d doesnt even support obj, so you need another tool to import the obj and then export back to .3ds.

Any of these will do:

- Wings 3d
- Blender 3d

PS: The bones will not export out of Poser correctly, so you will just have a static (not moving) model.

Hope i gave you a helping hand. :P
