Yes, the only google entry I could find was a wikipedia entry on U3d...what exactly is vertex tweening Chris? Lemme guess: Adding extra frames by extrapolating data from 2 frames to create a fluent animation? So, if this is true, could I have a fluent running animation by using AddFrame(

File,
Password
) and having only 3-5 files?

For example, if your model has 10 fps, and your game 30, your animation doesn't look smooth. If you turn vertex tweening on u3d calculates the position of the vertex in the not saved frames, and your animations look smoother.

I will not use Ultimate3d 2.x.x anymore - I am an Ogre C++ programmer.

I don't think a running animation of 3-5 frames would look that good. 10 frames would be the absolute minimum but even that is prety low in my opinion.

You can always experiment and see what results you get. Make a running animation with maybe 20 frames and try diffrent amounts of frames in your game e.g (frame 1, 5, 10, 15 and 20 in one animation).
