Hey I've been looking for codes on how to animate bones/joints in a .x file and was wondering how I could do that with the ultimate 3D. |

U3D can play animated x models. Of course, you will have to create the model in an external program. |

Hi and welcome to the community, SketchDreamer :). To animate bones, you can use GetBoneTransformation(...), SetBoneRotation(...) and SetBoneFrame(...). These functions need the index of the bone you want to manipulate. If you know the names of the bones, you can get their index using GetBoneIndex(...). Please read the help file for more info. |
