As if I had a tower that can be seen from two rooms, but you can jump down from the tower into other rooms? NVM!!! I figured it out. While I'm here, how many texture stages does the built-in bump/parallax mapping shader take up? |

Depending on whether parallax mapping is being used and how many light sources are being used the effects can take up to six (all available) texture stages. But that doesn't matter anyway, because as you enable parallax and/or bump mapping a pixel shader gets enabled, so usual multi texturing can't be used anymore. |

Dang. That's right. (A decision: lightmaps, prebuilt lightmaps, or normal mapping. I think I'll go for lightmaps.) |
