Hi, Ultimate 3D is working on Game Maker. But does Game Maker does have an job. And can you also use the Function when your in 3D of Game Maker. Like Drawing some 2D Pictures or something. And use the Game Maker Functions to check where a object is and the object exacly is where he also been seend 3D. And how does animation works. How can you get a value that he on the end of an animation so i can change the object to a diffrent on and that object is just the same character but than with an other animation. Or is there an other solution like check if he is on the end of the aniamtion than continue with an other one. And yes, i can aslo join the animation together. But i just want to use this when he is walking (walk animation) and than stops (idle animation). I hope i explane enough to get answers. Alexw |

A lot of Game Maker's functionality is still available when running Ultimate 3D, yes. Apart from not being able to use GM's drawing functions, there are only a few things you can't do anymore, like switching to/from fullscreen and using the Mouse Events.
If you mean using GM's d3d functions, no, you can't use those together with Ultimate 3D.
Ultimate 3D has its own 2D drawing functions.
The x and y variables retain their functionality under Ultimate 3D, while objects now have an additional z variable.
If you know how many frames your animation has, you can use GetCurrentFrame() to find out if you have reached the last frame. Other than that, I wouldn't know. P.S. Welcome to the Ultimate 3D community ;). |

There is a way to make a splash screen by calling Ultimate3DOptions(). I think this is called when loading, although it might not be what you want (like if you are loading a bunch of models for a level).

Before loading, Initialize U3d, and then call SwitchView(). It will let you draw using GM's functions. After that, just make your loading thing, but not all in create event of course, unless you really want to disable the program while loading, but you can figure it out. Just go to the next room or your level after loading. Or deactivate the objects. Or something. |

Hey, I didn't think of that. You could probably load the mesh and then add 1 to a variable, then load another mesh, then add 1... Then make a health bar go with that or something. |
