Hi everybody,

since this sub-category is also about books and book recommendations I just decided to recommend the best book about C++ I have ever read. It is quite well-known and it definitely deserves this. Its name is Effective C++ by Scott Meyers. The book gives 55 hints, which can be followed to program better, faster and more fail-save. It is aimed at those, who already know C++ quite well, but still want to get better at it. It definitely is not a lecture for novice C++ users. It requires quite a bit of previous knowledge. Personally I found it quite hard and tiring to read it (after half an hour I usually just could not read on), but everything I learned from it is extremely useful. It also has been translated to many languages (I read it in German).

Just wanted to let you know about it ^_^ . If you have read it and want to comment on it or have questions about its content you may post that here.
with friendly regards,
Dr. Best

The feeling of homesickness never goes away when you return to your parents home from years of being away.

same goes with the smell of ash and smoke from the day you set it ablaze.
