How the heck did you rip a gamecube CD onto your computer????

I never said I ripped my gamecube CD, this is like roms and emulators, you are legally free to use them only if you have the original game. So, I downloaded it ^_^
And for sure, sending content of the game disc is also illegal, so that's why you will hardly ever see anyone sharing models and that kind of stuff. This happens for example with Kingdom hearts models, Try searching on google, you won't receive anything from anyone (wisely).
How did you rip the rom???? I would LOVE to rip the meshes from Goldeneye! :yahoo:

Didn't I tell you I downloaded them? (You only need the original game for legal issues)
just get to a webpage which offers Games Isos and download them, then use them on your computer, and from there rip whatever you want. (you might get some texture problems with Nintendo meshes).
You said that it never happens with KH. You said that you couldn't find them online. In any case, I have purchased the original Goldeneye. However, how do I get stuff from the rom into a model format?

Oh, now I understand you xD. The reason why I said that about KH is because the DVD can be read on your computer, you just need the model dumper, you might found it on google anyway.

If you're talking about Goldeneye from Nintendo 64 be really careful, cause the maps are usually divided, and what's more, you might get bad textures.
What I use for dumping models on N64 you need the ROM, the emulator 1964, and the plugin "Nemu 64 Graphics (Combine Debug)" That plugin has an option for extracting models.
For gamecube games you need a gamecube emulator and the program "3D Ripper". That's all.

But if you're downloading, it's because someone is sharing it, It doesn't matter if anyone sends or receives.. both are guilty.

Anyway, here in Spain (At the west of Europe for those who don't know), we don't count with all that kind of legal issues, but is still illegal, At least we don't have such a hard legal system like Belgium, England... etc.
