Thanks, But that's not the problem I'm having. When I use uv mapping and then export my blender model the viewer shows no textures on the model.

Well, Does anyone have an answer? If I can just get these damn textures ingame then Many of my problems would be solved. If I can't do it in blender than what should I use?

Can't you just apply the textures in there?

Its weird in blender. It will do solid colors and images. But I can't use uv mapping.

Yeah, you can. In edit mode, you can edit the UV coords by replacing the standard bottom window with UV mapping. Then, to view the texture on the model, switch the view mode from solid to textured.

I know that. But when I do that then export, the model viewer shows no texture on the model.

You have to save the texture, then place it on. -_-

How exactly do you do that in blender?

When you make the texture, save it by going to the UV mapping window, and then under the image tab, there should be these two buttons among others:
Save As
Save

You be the judge of which one to use.

Check the blender console for errors.

Python version 2.5 should be installed. Python 2.6 Will Not Work.

So, Is there any way in blender to export textures with uv mapping? And have it show up in the game or model viewer.

Just save the textures inside Blender, and then export the file, and then open up the .u3d file in the model viewer, apply the textures, and save it. I'm pretty sure you can't export textures to a .u3d file inside Blender, though.

Ok, that works thanks. But I can't use it for detailed models. Well anyway I think I'm just going to use 3ds max.
