Hi all, Since I'm French, I need some (useful) characters like à,é,è,â,ê,â,ô,ç,... ![]() You don't really have this problem in English ![]() So can I use these characters in U3D ? I've already tried, but failed: the "specials" characters simply disappear in a text. That's pretty nice in a game ![]() I hope there is some kind of "Character Range", like in GM with the fonts ? Lots of thanks -/- Devil37 -/- |

Read about global.u3d_character_set, it is exactly what you need. |

Read about "global.u3d_character_set" in the "Advanced functions" --> "Ultimate 3D options" chapter of the manual. It is set in the Ultimate3DOptions() script and you assign a string to it that contains all the characters you want to display, including your useful characters .EDIT: Dr. Best beat me to it .

Thanks for quick answers ! It's strange because it doesn't work but surely it's because I've done an error somewhere I'll try to debug it ! -/- Devil37 -/- |

Please make sure that you are using Ultimate 3D 2.1 final (which is the very latest version). It is the first version that supports arbitrary character sets. |

I've download the latest version on that topic and it still doesn't work. Is it come from the version 2.1 final scripts ? Maybe I'm using a 2.x version but not the version final. Thanks -/- Devil37 -/- |

I've replaced my scripts by the u3d 2.1 final scripts and now it works correctly. Many Thanks ! -/- Devil37 -/- |
