Hey Guys, I have a simple series of questions for you again... 1: I have made a room model in Wings 3D, now I am a little confused on how I get it into U3D. I have downloaded the dll of course and the GMK File or whatever and opened it in Game Maker. Now I see that there are script functions, how do I use them? Like "Load Mesh" and and textures? 2: I have a bunch of Sci-Fi Textures in 512x512 and some are 1024x1024, Once I figure out how to get my room model into U3D how do I apply the textures to the walls, floor etc? 3: How do Implement Shaders into my Game? Like Bloom or Black and White Or Toon? 4: I have read the beginners tutorial and the advanced one and they made no sense to me haha. So Can someone just tell me how to make a simple room in U3D? Assuming I already have the room model and textures for it as I do. So no need to explain how to make those unless you feel it's necessary. Thanks for the help I really want to get started making games. And I'm making a Horror Game just so you know...Also Sorry if I sounded Rude there...Wasn't trying to be. U3d does not support the Wings3d model format, but I am sure you can export them into a compatible format (3ds or .X). Just apply the textures as you want them IN the model program, and simply copy and paste the textures into your games "gfx" directory (if it doesn't exist simply create a new folder.) Using shaders in U3d is as easy as copy and paste. You need not understand them to use them. |

Thanks for Response, Actually Wings3D can export to many popular formats like 3DS, but you can not apply textures in Wings. I know Anim8tor can though...thanks again. |

To load a model into U3D, simply:
Thats it. As for the textures and materials, its best to use a model program like Eanbro said. |
