Well, I made a lightmap using LightMapMaker, and exported it. Theres no way to see the vertex count in LightMapMaker, but in Milkshape I loaded it up and it had more vertices than the original mesh. So I welded together its vertices, and I welded together the vertices in the original mesh, so that they had the same amount of vertices. In U3d it gives error saying Cannot apply lightmap has different amount of vertices! U3d keeps giving me an error! What to do??!

Also, I tried combining the 2 models together for both models, it didnt give an error, but there were no visible lightmaps! Heck, I even colored the lightmap! |

A. Blender's baking B. 3ds's will give you that problem. It creates vertexes where there are texture breaks. C. Try exporting to Obj, importing to Blender, then exporting to U3d. |
