When I loaded the Ultimate3D dll in an resource editor, I saw some shaders in there.
Is it posible to add own shaders to the dll and call them ingame?

Lol, are you actually asking us to help you hack the Ultimate 3D .dll?

The nerve of some people <_< ...

I don't think Dr.Best would like that you are digging in his DLL without his permission. And those shaders are already functions which you can use in U3D. It's parallax mapping and specular highlights among others so I don't see any point in extracting shaders from the DLL when you can already use them from within U3D.

Yeah, I know that are build-in shaders.
I want to add more, so you don't need an "shaders" folder.

Ask Dr.Best if he can make a special DLL for you with the shaders compiled to the DLL. Though I don't know how much work that would be.

I was wondering when anybody would find the resources in the Ultimate3D.dll :D . It is not that difficult. If you open up the DLL in notepad you see them ^_^ . The following goes especially for skarik: Regard these shaders as released under the same license as the complete DLL (CC-BY). You can use and modify them as long as you mention that I made them.

@ djkevy
Just use Game Maker data files. There is no point in hacking stuff into the DLL. Despite it simply would not work.
