Edit:
I'd be happy if U3D 2.1.2 had DX9.0 support and nothing else. That's it. Doesn't need anything but the shaders. That's what I'd like.

However, I'll just stick with what I have.

Hey, Woah 2 is about Ultimate 3D 2.1. That is a nice list anyway ^_^ . Might be helpful for me when I create an official announcement about Ultimate 3D 3.0.

Woah yeah. I'm getting tired of GM. Did you guys notice that for GM, there are no examples that let you just copy and paste the code? I mean, dang. So, I decided to try something in GM, and I put multiplayer all in the hands of two objects: obg_server and obg_client. Ingenious, right?

It just bugs me on how everything is so dang rigid in GM and how everybody codes things so dang rigid. I like C++, because you can literally copy and paste the code. I'm not saying I do that, but really, how many people here have not edited U3D-GM for their own needs? Probably one or two. I practically don't use the Step script anymore and just call the model update and animation update when I need it.

Honestly, if U3D 3.0 was out, I'd put it on a CD and rape it or something. Jeez, I know, disgusting, but being able to turn off backface culling is just sickly awesome.

Well, I'm done ranting here, and I'm going to see if I can get my 2D game back up to around 120 FPS and see if I can push Stickman back up to 30. So, yeah, I'm going to be dead later. See ya.

i agree with skarik, cept the cd raping part... i'd love a complete list of all the things that u3d 3.0 can do... lol
The feeling of homesickness never goes away when you return to your parents home from years of being away.

Well, yeah, maybe I should have mentioned that Ultimate 3D 3.0 reached the beta state a month ago.

But currently things are slightly complicated. I am about to finish school. My last lesson is on third of April and there are many important exams currently. I do not have that much time. After finishing Ultimate 3D 3.0 I spent one and a half week working through a book about Blender and tried to get back into the development of my game, which worked quite well.

The problem is that I do not have any Tech Demo for Ultimate 3D 3.0. And I do not have the time to make one. If I would create an official announcement about it now, it would look like this:
"Hey everybody, Ultimate 3D 3.0 is done. It can do this, this and this. Anyway you will not get it now and you will not see anything from it."

I will create a topic about it, but it will take a while. The first wave of exams is over now, so I have a bit more free time. Once I have something cool to show (possibly from my game) I will create an announcement.
