The blender plugin to export .u3d; How do I get it to work?

It won't come up in the Export menu. The help file says to "Copy it to %BlenderInstallationDirectory%\.blender\scripts", but you can't have folders beginning with a "." and having a folder just called "blender" won't work. I've tried just putting it into a /scripts/ folder and putting it into the zip file, neither work. And Python is working fine.

Can anyone help me here?

Once you have installed Blender there already should be a folder like this.

:( Really? I haven't got one, and it comes up with an error message when I try to make one. I'll try reinstalling it.

EDIT: Yeah, I downloaded the zip one and it worked, thanks. Sorry for posting such a useless thread lolol.
