I have a small demo with two cubes (CreateCube();) sitting on a floor (CreateFloor();). I am trying to get the cubes to cast shadows on the floor. I have gone through everything meticulously and I cannot understand why the shadows do not show up. Shadows are switched on, casters and receivers are set up, geometry is shadow-optimized, everything has Step(); in the step event, and everything is being called in the correct order. Is it possible that cubes and floors just aren't compatible with the stencil shadows? I've gone through the shadows checklist, but is there anything else that should be mentioned? Thanks! |

Prims can not cast shadows. If they did, they'd rendered as models. |
