How would I do this?

I just wan't to take a sphere model and bump map it.

I have never done this in U3d, nor have I used more then one texture before in it.

Thanks.

Code:

LoadHeightMap(...)
ApplyParallaxAndBumpMapping(...)

Have fun. XD

basically the same as you apply a texture, make sure the uwv cords are correct.

Why would a sphere be any different than any other model?

Skarik, if you already have a normal map, there is no reason to use the LoadHeightMap() function, as it simply computes a new normalmap from a heightmap (Or any other texture for that sake, however this might only be with limited success.)

In other words:
Just ApplyParallax...(...) if you already have a normalmap.

Zeo, you could have said that in the beginning instead of looking for something to prove me wrong on. He didn't say he was using a normal map. XD

Sorry Skarik, I did not try to prove you wrong, just adding a few extra things on top of your explanation. I sorry if it caused a misunderstanding.

It's pretty obvious that if he's using bumb mapping, he has already loaded a heightmap somewhere.
