Here is a topic where you post artwork that you drew! Meager, good, or great. Don't let limitations stop you from showing off your skill! I'll post some of mine later.

Nice paintings Desp.

The chairhead one to me symbolizes this:

On the usual mans mind, is sitting on his ass all day and being lazy, hense the chair in his head. (although, that may just be more then half of americans.. (yeah, im american, but i couldnt give a shit)
Thanks :)

I just like painting surrealistic and quirky stuff, so there's no special meaning behind the painting. Just weird for the sake of weird.
Lol,oh. So i just insulted my homeland for no reason (great going.. xP)

This is a drawing I did for a school project, where we had a group write a segment of a story structure, and illustrate it. My English teacher surprisingly allowed subtle rascist remarks... The story was Amazing, but I'll save it to another time.

No, but it does symbolize how it is when someone feels alone, if that's a backstory.

I created the low poly out of quads, made the high poly by chamfering certain edges and applying a turbosmooth modifier, triangulated and completely smoothed the low poly(for normals accuracy), baked the high to the low, and applied a high-contrast cavity map to make the normal's edges more pronounced.

for the normal map, I combined 2 separate normals using photoshop(the baked normal and the details normals) and used a dilation method to close the holes so there would be no normal errors on UV edges.

cavity map.

actual normal map is 2048x2048.

Nice work, I'm assuming this is 3dsmax, because you used some terms I'm not aware of. And I'm just going to tell myself that the reason I don't know them is because I don't know 3dsMax. I consider myself good at modelling, but then I see things like this and feel like I couldn't accomplish it. Although I never spend a few weeks on a project. Are you doing anything major with these skills?
