Yeah, I don't see the Metro interface working too well on PCs. I haven't messed around with the Windows 8 RC/beta/whatever it is, but I think that the Metro interface needs to be off by default on non-touch-based desktops and laptops, with the option of turning it on for people who really want it. I guess it'd be okay on a computer like an HP Touchsmart, but it'd be really crappy on my brother's 52-inch TV that sits a good five and a half feet away from the user on the couch.
Oh fuck no, I'll plug in my tablet for Windows8 and suddenly everything switches to Metro. I already had enough issues turning it all off for Windows7, only thing I kept on was the handwriting recognition.

^^ very nice.

I watched a old German film today.
Metropolis 1927 "the origins of many sci-fi films and games"

System shock
Bio shock
Equilibrium
ect...

I am amazed at this deep insight.

@DR.Best has thou watched this timeless classic?

I once downloaded it from archive.org and had a look at it, but so far have not watched it completely.

How to install Deus Ex on Win7? Luenardi?
It says I need the game disc in the cd-rom drive, and yet I have. It's an original copy btw.

EDIT: Doesn't even get past the "uncompressing system files...", the installer becomes unresponsive. Trying compatibility troubleshooting instead.

That is very weird.
did you try "run as administrator" ?

Testing again now.
it's supposed to be GOTY edition correct?
Oh... just wait... wait... it decompresses a few large archives afterward. ^_^
If it does not finish after 5 mins...

open task manager.
right click winzip self extractor
click bring to front.

look if there was any error messages.

But the best way... "there is a old "folder name here".exe in almost every sub folder of the disk...
unzip these to each respective folder after it seems to crash. you can use 7zip.. it's free.

sorry for all the edit's.
