What's crazy is how much money is involved with software. I mean, tens of thousands of dollars are spent for something you can't even see or touch (and no, not the disc it comes on, or the program it creates)

Sooo, Anybody wanna help me make a blur shader that fades back to and from the regular scene? :D

Some Jehovas knocked on my door earlier today. What is this, the Dark Ages? Are people still doing this?

Last time they asked me whether I think about god every once in a while is barely two weeks ago.

I wonder whether they care about 21st of December 2012 as well. In the past they usually joined in on doomsday prophecies.

I officially left the church on paper when i turned 18, so I rather be left out of it all together. Sure they can't know that, but still. It would be sweet.

I never entered a church in the first place, i.e. I am not baptized or anything like that. Though I've been at a catholic elementary school and thus visited mass once a week for four years. Never liked that.

Generally I am alright with religions as long as they are not abused for secular purposes.

If Jehovah's Witnesses would know, that you are not even Christian, this would probably be yet another reason for them to bug you.

I didn't voluntarily enter the church either, this was done automatically in Sweden when you were born in pre-1995. I've never been a church goer or a supporter of their beliefs, so I didn't see a point being a member of the church.
Religion has more and more been phased out of normal society over the past 20 years here in Sweden, i.e we don't "swear to God" anymore in court, it's too primitive and the majority of Swedes are non-believers.

My dad made us go to church as kids and all of us are atheist now. One of my dads cousins is rich by exploiting churches and christians. He gets to travel all the time and has loads of money because people think if they pay him somehow they will suddenly not have problems...If you kept your money in your pocket you would probably have less problems.

I am christian, however too many people are making it cheap(meaning other Christians, or people claiming they are). Like the Jehovah's Witnesses. I do believe that God is in control of my life. I don't blame anyone being atheist one of my friends is atheist, it never made him a bad person, this one church I went to always told me I'm hypocrite because I have a friend who don't believe in God, I left that church.
Now I go to "Ewigelig" Church (Similar to Apostolic churches). This year I asked God, and I did receive on the strangest ways. Next thing :ph43r:
"21st of December 2012" Nah I don't think its the End of the world then, Bible states that Only God knows, anyone who says that they know is false prophetess (whether they are christian or not)

I’m simply agnostic. It's the most logical stance to take in my opinion.

That sounds nice :) I wish Britain had a national anthem more about the people and the history of the country instead of the Queen and 'scattering our enemies'...

On the religious part, I can't say I am an atheist, however I won't believe baseless information (so I cant say I am a Christian or Buddhist or whatever). Therefore I don't think there is a god nor hell in the literal sense, though I do believe religion was meant to teach us, and provide a guiding light in our lives.

If you watch all four seasons of ancient aliens, it reveals a lot of truth about where religion came from. All I can do is suggest you watch it, there is no way I can try to explain as well as they do. It's just a bunch of smart people talking about physical things on this planet that our ancestors made/wrote about.
