Well I realize now that I was pretty much doing everything wrong but I had it show IDs and it returned 1 and I had it show
Code:

IDs[i]
and it returned 0 so I feel like the loop isn't working or something. But I have it set up to draw two walls and its drawing one(idk if its just two walls in the same place)

edit:on another note:

It's one of the most widely used languages right now. Android development alone takes a huge piece of the cake.

I never realized how much paperwork and number crunching were involved in running a company.

Are you running one yourself?

Yeah, well it's still in processing and getting everything sorted out with the bank and stuff, but there's a lot of stuff you need to go through. Accounting alone is a pain and really time consuming.

Good luck then. If things go well you will eventually be able to pay somebody for the paperwork ;) .

Yeah, getting all paperwork handled for me would be a dream. Though I'm getting an accountant no matter what :P

quick gml question:
how would i a certain event happen every other frame? i want to apply a delay to a given object. I could use alarm, but I was hoping there was a way with less coding...

Use a toggle system. Test for a "true" value in your event variable. Perform the event if it is true, then set it to false. Have an else statement set up that sets it to true. In other words...
Code:

if(toggle==true)
{
//Do crap
toggle=false;
}
else
{
toggle=true;
}

oh derp, of course.
I already did the extra coding, and would probably not change it.

A cleaner way would be to simply do
Code:

toggle=!toggle;

if(toggle)
{
//Do stuff
}
