Pascal is quite old, I'm not sure if it is a good language to learn I can't really see much job positions for Pascal here, and it is not even being taught at my school.

A language I really like is C#, it's mostly windows, but it's also mostly awesome. You should be able to build games with that very nicely.
I've seen great things developed with object pascal, and there is a good number of commercial games developed with it. I'm not looking to it for aquiring a job through pascal, more like a stepping stone that leads to greater things. Like independence from game maker, and moving onto other languages. I'm asking if anyone can help me find a good footing because there are not a lot of tutorials/examples for pascal. C++ is older than pascal so calling something old doesn't mean its useless.

Pascal was used in schools as a C border language.

Didn't say its useless because it's old, I said that I'm not sure if it is useful since I don't know any company/school using/teaching pascal here. And as for the Old part, I rather learn cool new things, though not too new because then you have the risk that it might not catch on.

Yeah, that's why I'm so indecisive. But I'm forcing myself to do something now, because in the time I've waited trying to choose the right thing, I could have learned something by now.

C# is also used in ASP.NET, which is a pretty popular framework for the web. (Though I think its a bit chubby since it's meanth to run on windows servers). Also Resharper is awesome! If you need any tips I'll be on the Couch, though I can't really connect Skype names to U3D names..

I'm so sick of zombie games. Every month there's a new zombie game out that's "different". Different how? It's the same recycled package over and over again. And people still buy it.
