@Reikyrr The Military pass in Finland is proof that you have been in the military service. It has Name, identity number and a photo. So it's usualy accepted as id card. @Animaster78900 Yes I should have metioned that combat in overall is much beter in KH II. What I meant about the gameplay is that KH I had more exploration and platforming elements like having to return in already completed worlds after acquiring new spells and abilities. Places that are out of reach until you get double jump or fly and activating that machine in Gizmoshop with lightning spell for example. I don't remember KH II having those neutral white mushroom creatures, wich you had to cast right spell on to recive extra stuff, that appeared sometimes in KH I. The fact that enemies were divided between heartless and nobody groups was a nice touch in KH II.
Yes I apologize that line was I blame midnight writing. KH: Re-Chain of memories has not been relased in europe I recall. Or at least I haven't seen it on sale anywhere. Edited by 57E, Nov 21 2010, 12:43 PM.

Ah, now i know what you met about Game play. Your right, there was a LOT more in KH 1. I do like the spells on 1 more than 2, i like the mushrooms, the platforming, and all that. About Re: Chain of Memories, have you heard about E-Bay? What i want are the final Mix versions of the games, unfortunately, they only got it in japan.

I don't know about that. I reckon this website barely even gets past more than a hundred unique visitors each month, let alone a thousand. Edited by Despellanion, Nov 21 2010, 05:23 PM.

Yes true, but yoyo gets ALOT of traffic... Some of that traffic could be redirected here if more n more u3d tagged games are put up there... -In a product based business, when your product is not doing too well on the market, what should u do? -one option is to advertise it... let the people know of its goodies... ![]() And thats what we should do, advertise u3d on yoyo through our awesome games, even stupid and pointless (have you noticed the funniest of things are the stupid stuff?)... I know u3d for game maker is discontinued, yes we've seen this a thousand times, but I am pretty sure that Dr.B does not want people to stop using it... he put in so much to bring it to were it is now and obviously it would put a smile on his smart face to see a load of games released under his 3d engine n credits going like 'special thanks to Christopher Peters' n such.... etc etc... I absolutely know and understand that Dr.B is EXTREMELY busy, probably the busiest dude I know at the moment but... U3D is still in its growth stage, it still needs promoters and the best promoter is the one dude who knows its every inch, no not you skarik.... Yes Dr.B... I am sure u can spare 5-10 minutes once, twice or three times a week to whip up a fun game, does'nt have to be a heavy game... They say 'if the leader stands up, everyone else will stand up...' so yes... Everyone, lets promote our product, we all love it... Dont we? |

If some one is will to make a 16 simple low quality models i can have a game done within 3 weeks. Skarik does not post here anymore but i have studied U3D internally and externally. Edited by luenardi, Nov 21 2010, 05:27 PM.

I know Dr.Best is very strict about people calling him by his correct name, which is not Christopher but Christoph ![]() But who can blame him, foreigners often call me "Linux" instead of "Linus". Edited by Despellanion, Nov 21 2010, 05:32 PM.

I have a game almost done, though it was not made with U3D, however, this forum and website will be in the credits, as will Christoph for getting me started and making this all possible for me. @Luenardi, I have almost no time, but should be able to make any models you need. Pm me with the details, and get to work on the engine! Here is an idea; why don't some of the C++ programmers around here, and Gandalf, work on a simple DX9 graphics engine for GameMaker? Basically make a clone of U3D with all the same functions and stuff, but make it more modern. I know this is almost impossible with the time people on this forum are willing to spend on things, but Gandalf was comming along quite nicely with his engine. This would give people a way to start 3d programming, just as U3D gave us all. |

Oops I didn't know that... I read somewhere that real programmers prefer to be called by their real names rather than some catch name... If someone was to give credits for something I did I think I prefer to be referenced to as Naomi Zealous not 'Nazle'... Sorry I figured the Dr had the same view.... Poor judgement! :p

18:11 local time. Ouside temperature is -12.7 and decreasing. About 25cm of snow on the ground. It's complitely dark and silent around here. Apart from that outdoor light in neighbours house across the field, but it has been left constantly on for two weeks and there is no one home so it does not count. Trying to reisist temptation to go sneaking around the forest with night vision binoculars. ![]() EDIT: And failing. Edited by 57E, Nov 27 2010, 06:31 PM.

My internet has been on the blitz over the past week. I come back here and nothing has changed, which is rather sad... I have a game I am close to releasing. Its called Blox, and its a physics performer made in Panda3d. It comes with a level editor, so you can have unlimited levels. There are still some bugs I need to get out, and some documentation, but its basically done. I made it to test out physics and level loading. |

Friend suggested that I try to make my level generator to produce non-euclidean geometry.![]() Didn't work excatly. I suppose, as I didn't go mad by staring it. Would require more resreach to make the deforming algorithms right. But looks nicely twisted as it is. (And polygons go through each other near the center of the screen, meaning that model generating code still has glitches to fix )

Well as this is the "What's on your mind"... I think it'll take some time before I manage to get this song off my mind: A Complete History Of The Soviet Union Through The Eyes Of A Humble Worker, Arranged To The Melody Of Tetris. The music video is pretty good too. In Soviet Russia Tetris plays you! Edited by 57E, Dec 2 2010, 09:11 PM.
