Background models; Is it possible to disable the lighting?

Hello,

I want to use a background object for my background. At this moment, I'm using a big sphere which I have set as background object. But I'm using a directional light from a rotating sun, but the background object is lit up by the light of this directional light (and 180 degree's from the angle of the sun, so it does look very strange).

Is there any way to disable the lightning for only this object?

Another question, what are the most usual models for a background object, for now I use a big sphere, but the textures doesn't look very nice on it, but when I use a cube I see the corners very clearly...

I hope someone can help me.

Ronald

Most usual are the build in sky sphere/sky cube.

Anyway, I think you need SetMaterialEmissive() (look it up in the manual since my spelling should be a bit off.)

(I think you need to turn mipmapping off for a cube.)

I think that I used I think too much in my post which according to my thoughts kinda ruined the context I think.
