do the same thing you would with the floor, and if you wanted 2 different floor with 2 different textures then you would have to make another floor. |

and that was? i thought what u did was u put loadtexture(gfx/floor.jpg",2)in create event in control object. and u put back createfloor() in create event in floor object. right? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- and how is the program meant to know which texture goes with which floor (or wall)? |

You have obviously not read a single line of the manual. Edited by Despellanion, Nov 26 2010, 10:26 PM.

I helped you in my previous post. Just add the code to the create event of the wall object. |

Well, it seems you are not getting how this work, so I will try explain this to you. If you need to apply a texture to a basic U3D model, the only thing you need to do is: 1- Load the texture in the create event of your controller with LoadTexture("Thisisthetexturename.XD", the tex. index [example.. 1, 2, 3...] ) 2- Yo are not applying that texture. Do this with the wall, floor or cube object, by assigning a texture variable with the id of the texture you loaded before, you know... I mean, if you know the way home(1), but you don't walk(2), you will not reach your home (see colour in floor )... Understand?FOR EXAMPLE: create even of control obj: LoadTexture("Gfx/floor.png", 1234567890) create event of my wall obj: texture=1234567890 Is that so hard to do? If it is, pm me and I will ask Chuck Norris to go explaining that to you my friend! Hope to be helpful, goodbye! |
