I downloaded navicat for server side: but it needs to connect to a database. How do I create a MySQL database or what program do I need? |

I recommend downloading the official GUI package with the Query browser included: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/gui-tools/5.0.html That's what I always use. |

Not sure, I've only tried GMSQL and it worked fine. In the end I think they both do the same thing and it's just a matter of which you prefer using. |

Does your host support remote database creation? Some only supports localhost creation like PhpMyAdmin. |

If you are using a server with PHP I suggest using MysqlAdmin and look into SQL scripting: W3Schools SQL Tutorial |

oh noes, I have no knowledge about php I tried doing this. is it possible for some one to create a db and then put in a rar where I can just put on my computer and add the necessary tables etc. these are the files I downloaded: mysql-essential-5.1.53-win32.msi mysql-gui-tools-5.0-r17-win32.msi mysql-workbench-gpl-5.2.30-win32.msi Edited by DJ-Habana, Nov 29 2010, 08:33 PM.

OK my database is running now and working, but everytime I restart my computer I have to reinstall mysql-essential-5.1.53-win32.msi because the server doesn't want to start again. Ok everything works now now I need gmsql (the dll's) and some help on it, it is closed on yoyogames.com and the scripts of gmmysql aren't commented Edited by DJ-Habana, Nov 30 2010, 11:17 AM.
