well i been using first person view for a while in u3d but, when i move to 3rd person i cant seam to get it setup like the way i want. see what i'm trying is a over top view but i cant seam to get it there without having to rotate the model 90 degrees anyway around that? |

I'm not entirely sure what you mean but the camera has some pretty simple features, three rot values, and three position values, you can use lengthdir_x and y to get the position behind the character, and the height you want the camera to fit at, and use point direction to point the camera at the character it's pretty easy to set up manually, I've never used the built in camera controls, just because I don't fully understand it and rather make my own solution that I can easily access in code! |
