Is there any way to use two different models in one object? I'am swithcing back and forth between first and third person objects(one for arms, and one for third person model), but it would be much easier to just use one object with 2 different models, instead of saving coordinates of the previous one blah blah blah. PS - I've seen the multiple trees example but I don't think thats what I'am looking for since they have to be different models. |

Ok well I didn't think it would be as easy as changing the file variable lol. But now I need to destroy the previous model when I switch back and forth between view modes. I have something like this: if !cam.view_mode {file = "mdl/thirdPersonModel.u3d" LoadMesh();} if cam.view_mode {file = "mdl/firstPersonModel.u3d" LoadMesh();} ReleaseModel("") won't destroy it. EDIT : Solved, Here is the working code:
I'll make an example sometime soon. Edited by RonBurgundy, Sep 7 2012, 12:45 AM.
