It is possible to not draw specific surfaces from a cube ? On a cube is already set somehow backface culling , but can I control other surfaces which are not necessary to draw ? For example , if a box is in front of another box , the second box shouldn't render his front face because is covered by the box in front ... |

Ultimate 3D uses z-buffering, so at a pixel level things are culled. Earlier culling would require occlusion algorithms, which can be quite expensive. Implementing them in Game Maker would be most certainly a lot slower, than relying on the z-buffer. |
