Hello,

I want to now how i make a light beam as explain,

this my lamp model.
O

I want to get it with realistic light beams such as this

..........O
........|..|
.......|....|
......|......|
.....|........|

How can i do this? not that is just set a light spot that light up some textures but i want the light beames visible.

Such as this:

The basic example uses billboards if I remember correctly. It's basically just 2-3 lines of code.

width=height=10;
texture=1;
Create2D();
Step();

Dude, just make semi transparent light beam texture and add it to a billboard. Put that billboard under the light source (light point...)
That is all.
You make billboard same way as model.

width=height=10;
texture=LIGHT BEAM LOADED TEXTURE;
Create2D();
Step();
