I want to help a friend with a maths assignment, however I cannot remember a thing :/ A triangle ABC has vertices at points A(2,-1,4) , B(3, -2,5) and C(-1,6,2). Find, in the form ai+bj+ck, the vector AB, BC and CA and hence find the lengths of the sides of the triangle. Check whether side AB is perpendicular to BC This is what I do remember 1)hence find the lengths of the sides of the triangle but I do not remember Find, in the form ai+bj+ck, the vector Is it something like 2i-1j+4k 3i-2j+5k -i+6j+2k ? And then I really can't remember how to do "Check whether side AB is perpendicular to BC" I've searched on google, but my math reading skills sucks since I started to work (boring Asp.net all the time, well what I have to do is boring) If I do the cross product I get 3i -2j -1k, thus I am saying AB is not Perpedicular to BC. Can anyone say this is right or wrong please Edited by DJ-Habana, Feb 12 2014, 11:11 PM.
