((OOC: hehe, I made a joke in the title... get it? Its a song! But instead of Dancing, I put walking.... oh, I make myself laugh)) It was late at night, and the forest was still. There was no wind blowing the leaves around, and all the animals had long since gone to sleep. The moonlight seeped down through the canopy, illuminating the forest ground, and the man that walked through it. Gabriel sighed, as his feet kicked up the leaves that were on the floor, having fallen from the trees. The forest was so peaceful at night. One could almost forget it was right on the outskirts of the safe zone, between the Eternal City and the Wastelands. Almost. There was always that little edge in the air, that made it feel like danger was always waiting for you, just around the next corner. But, Gabriel had managed to get used to it, and ignored that prickly sensation nowadays. He walked around a tree, and ahead of him, he saw his destination for the evening. A small lake in the middle of the forest. The moonlight was reflected off the surface, making the entire area glimmer with a silver glow. Walking down to the water's edge, he took off his shoes and socks, and rolled up his trousers, dangling his feet in the cool water. He loved this little secluded spot, especially at night. He could just doze off, all alone, and think about whatever he wanted to think about, without being disturbed... |

she'd been through hell getting here and there, totally indeniably tired. Walking on and on, werewolfs had been after her from vampire weaklings to stupid to go after herself, a good lot she'd killed but the rest she didnt have the time or the will to fight on, exgaushted she'd found a nice walk through the forest. Her senses sensing every now and again searching for another presence, she'd come up to a clearing. Looking around she'd sigh in reluctancy, seeing how beautiful the moons light shone of the grass, she'd look up the night sky, amazing as usual, each star and flash awe-ing her. She'd look to the floor with and angry spark in her mood, dropping to the floor she'd spring up and throw her hand outwards and down as a figure of her real han probably 4 times larger would spring out from beside her as she'd lung her hand down and sink te demonic arua'd hand into the grounds beneath her creating a huge gash and mounds of dirt flying through the air, as it'd settle she'd land ith a little puff of dust spreading around her, hmmph..., she'd sigh with a smile asa huge trenched crater of where her hand had torn up was present. Walking on she'd stop by the water front and walk along it, feeling as she'd be about to tear up the beauty of it, she'd feel tired and gave up. Walking along she'd see a tree, No ordinary tree, she'd been in this very tree once before in her childhood. Jumping up into it with one small jump she'd land on the very branch she remembers getting stuck on. Standing tall she'd spy downwards at the water infront spotting a figure of something, someone laying down by the water as she'd have a message pass through her mind. Play time... |

Relaxing at the water's edge, Gabriel closed his eyes, and laid back, his head resting on the ground and his feet still in the water. He was lying there, thinking about life - rather philosophically - when from behind him came a great big crashing sound. Jolting upright, his eyes flying open as the sound disturbs his peace, he looks behind him. Nothing was there! Except.. there was a large crater in the ground behind him, that looked as if something had smashed into it, disturbing the soil and leaving it strewn across the ground like it was currently. Gabriel frowned. What on earth had done that? there didn't seem to be anything large enough to do that much damage anywhere - and even something smaller would leave a trace, which wasn't present. So, what was it? His eyebrows creased together into a frown, as he got up, walking barefoot across the ground, as he searched the area, looking for whatever had caused the explosion and the crater. He didn't think to look up, in the trees... |

she'd notice how displased and unpleasent he looked, she'd go to laugh but kept it in, trying to keep who and where she was a secret, seeing him barefoot just about made her laugh aswell. what the... she'd think to herself before noticing how oddly he looked like someone she knew along time ago, exactly this place and these parts is where she'd seen a face like that, she'd take a closer look surverying what she could to come to a conclusion, her pink, strawberry blonde hair all of a sudden being picked up in the breeze and picking up dust and snd as it'd reach into her eye's wide open just as she'd go to say something giving a small yelp and a jerk she'd try to rub her eye's making it worse, rolling them she'd suddenly stop and petrude her hands forwards ready to summon Sanctum for battle hoping she hadnt been heard, still hoping she'd probably not want to make a scene so she'd put her hands down and sits on the branch looking to him oddly. |

Gabriel keeps looking around the area, confused as to what just happened. A small breeze picked up, and made the leaves on the trees rustle loudly, the sound ruining the otherwise perfect silence. Running his hand through his hair, to smoothen it out, he sighs, and was about to go back to the lake's edge and ignore the mysterious crater, when out of nowhere a yelp pierced through the night air. Twirling around, Gabriel looked in the direction of the sound, his hand going to the hilt of his rapier. Strange... no-one was there. Wait - he looked upwards, into the branches of the tree in front of him. There, sitting on a branch, looking at him strangely, was a girl. His mouth dropped open in surprise, and he jumped backwards a bit, holding his sword in a defensive manner with his right hand, and his left hand at his side, ready to create his Light Bow. He studied her intently - she looked familiar... but from where, Gabriel just didn't know. It was like a memory of his had been locked away - which didn't really surprise him. He was still figuring out all that had happened to him in the past. "Who are you?" he called out to the girl. "what do you want?" A bit cliched, perhaps, but Gabriel wasn't really in the mood for coming up with decent questions. |

she'd jump up on the branch ready to fight, but something catching her breath as she'd notice the glimpse in his eye that he too has seen something something related to hers. She'd laugh and puts her hands behind her head and sigh's, more like yawns but hey..,she'd look down as he'd be closer this time, Do you always jump back in suprise or is that a un common thing?, She'd laugh sitting back down but swings back on teh branch so she'd now sit upside down and turns her head looking at him, i dont like giving away private details, sorry my friend.. but may i ask whom you are? she'd smile towards him, she'd think she'd look pretty stupid, crossing her arms she'd look at him inher upside downposition tryig not to laugh as she'd feel an itch to rub her eyes again because of the sand. |

Gabriel looks warily at the girl. He didn't trust her - she appeared from nowhere, blowing a large hole in the ground, and now she was taunting him. But still, he couldn't brush a niggling feeling in the back of his head, that said he knew her from somewhere... "No, I don't normally jump like that. You just scared me, thats all. You and your giant-crater making skills." he blinks, as she swings around on the branch and dangles upside down, facing him. Deciding she wasn't really a threat after all, he relaxed, taking his hand away from his rapier, and walked closer to her, until he was right in front of her. The distance between them was about a metre and a half. Looking at her upside down made him slightly disorientated, so he tried to turn his head upside down as well, rolling it to the left. Of course, that failed, and he was left looking like an idiot with his head tilted to one side, and with a crick in his neck. Sighing, he moved his head back to its normal position, rubbing his hand against the side of his neck. "Um, yeah... I'm Gabriel. Now you know more about me than I know about you. Care to change that?" He said. This was a rather weird encounter. |

she'd laugh at his motions, feeling his gaurd fal, she'd grin feeling the pleasure to attack rising in her demon feelings, overcrowding and jolting through her hands, she'd feel the sudden need to feel the pain of something dying.. but would venture forwards before having a motive. She'd be trying to supress her feelings a lil more before seeing him try to get to her eye lever upside down, she'd giggle before seeing him bend and turn was amusement for her, she'd begin to think, this white hair guy seems utterly and undeniably familiar. She'd supress her feelings more before he'd tell her his name, oooh, Gabriel.. hmm its go anice ring to it Gab...... GABRIEL!! AHHH she'd fall out of the tree and land hard onto her head, she'd sit up shaking her head in confusion to waht had just happened as she'd look up to him and move back a bit hiding her gloved hands behind her, feeling a though of dread spredding through her, she'd gasp before looking him up and down. GA..Ga...Gabriel? ... Gab...Gabriel Mercury, omg.... She'd stumble backwards looking him up and down, knowing know who she'd walked into. |

Gabriel jumps backwards in surprise, as the girl, whose name he still didn't know, fell out of the tree and landed on her head. He stepped forward again, kneeling down next to her in concern. "Are you alright? That looked like it hurt.." Then, as she backs away from him, stuttering his name, he frowns and looks at her weirdly. "Um... yeah? How do you know me? I never told you my surname...." This meeting was going from weird to weirder. |

Gabrlel watched her, as she paced back and forth, her hands hidden behind her back. Something was obviously bothering her - was it something he said? When she finally stops, he looks at her, one eyebrow raised. Would she finally answer one of his questions? Evidently not. She said her name, as if it meant something to him. He thought back, as far as his memory would allow. Which wasn't very far. He'd only been alive in this world for a year or two, and he'd never met this girl in that time. Maybe... maybe she knew him from before? The Event had wiped his memories, so, it was possible - but, he'd been in a stasis for 200 years! So, she'd be as old as him - which, well, it wasn't possible! Unless she wasn't human? And the name seemed familiar on some level... "I'm sorry, Kerolyan, I don't - I don't remember you. That is - not to say I don't know you... my memory has some - patches - in it, so its possible I do know you, but, I don't, if you see what I mean" He rubbed the back of his neck embarrassed slightly. Wasn't often he ran into someone who knew him, and he didn't know them. Except for his enemies, of course, they were always sending hitmen after him. |

hearing his words, she'd feel a bit distrought and a bit sad. Her sadness soon turning to disapointment would now turn to anger as she'd look up at him with a odd smile hiding her hands still. Oh.. really, if you dont remember me then the reactions i'v given possibly give you that im and enemy or a friend... Because i will act. she'd spread her legs into a stance and moves her hands from her back, her hands now ungloved showing their demonic appearance as light yellow haze would apear around them and her eye's would flash to yellow, in it all... i dont really care.. im all 'bout power.. and his time i will not give in.. seeming to have lost control of herself she'd try to fight herself but failing to she'd just go with it now giving in to her anger and ready to fight. The air around seeming to disapate and her hair raised a tiny bit, she'd more to a more readied stance, her anger now increasing, plighting with her ownself to stay in controll and not falter and work a way to return her anger. |

Gabriel looked at her, as she smiles at him. There was something creepy about this girl. And he didn't just mean in the fact that she knew him but he didn't know her - there was something in the air, around her. It smelt... demonic. But that couldn't be right - she wasn't possessed, and as far as he knew, demons couldn't take the shape of a human so effectively. So maybe his instincts were just off. Then, as she moved into a stance, bringing her hands in front of her body, revealing their demonic nature, Gabriel cursed under his breath. Obviously he was right - but, what was she? That was the new question that sprang to mind. As he faced her, he backed away slowly to put a bit of distance between them, and give each other a bit more room to maneuver. He raised his left hand, and concentrated inwardly, connecting to the flow of magic that coursed through his body. A white glow surrounded his left hand, then stretched outwards vertically, forming itself into his Lumen Arcus, his Light Bow. Concentrating again, he did the same thing in his right hand, this time to form an arrow, which he placed in the bow, before aiming it at Kero. "Kerolyan! Calm down, I'm not going to hurt you, unless you attack me! I don't want a fight. Just breathe!" |

she'd laugh as he'd react to her hands, it was just thing thing she was waiting for. but this hurt her alil more trigering her emotions more, making her feel more angry to see he really doesn't remember her. watching him move making more and more movements, creating space between them and then forming something so beautiful before him. Her mouth almost dropped, she'd look at her hands and then back up thinking she'd need to learn that trick to keep handy. Her eye's would scan the scenry slowly before he'd ask her to calm down slowly and still restraining she'd stand up straight and closes her eye's letting her arms fall to her side and shakes her head with a laugh, phew, im sorry.. i am realy much of a short fuse arnt ...I!!!she'd walk around for a tad before the last word and screams her left hand towards him sending the arms demonic double spawning and being thrown towards him as fast as she could to grasp him and bring him in, hoping to catch him off gaurd of course. at the same time she'd do a simple jump up, not notiing where she'd jumped hoping to get into the tree on to a branch above. |

Gabriel sighs with relief as she lowers her hands, and seems to calm down. He lowers his bow, letting the arrow disappear into nothingness, but not completely trusting her to such a point that he'll let his bow disappear as well. He shakes his head, and says "Don't worry about it, Kerolyan - everyone gets angry som-" His sentence is cut short, as he sees her pull back her fist, then punch it forwards through the air, sending a giant, spiritual version of her own fist towards him. Swearing under his breath, Gabriel side-steps to his left, spinning his body around at the same time to try and avoid the fist. Unfortunately, he's not quite quick enough to avoid it completely, and it clips his left shoulder, causing a burning sensation to travel through his body, radiating outwards from his shoulder. He cries out in pain, and momentarily drops to one knee, before pushing himself back up. The material that covered his shoulder had been ripped open, and his shoulder appeared to be steaming slightly. Whatever that fist was, it could do some serious damage. Cursing, he brought his light bow back up, forming an arrow in his right hand and threading it onto the bow. Taking aim at Kero quickly, he fired the arrow at her, aiming at her head. But, while the arrow was in midflight, he said one word. "Scindo!" The spell he had cast caused the arrow to split into four new arrows, each one heading for a separate part of her body at high speed. One was aimed at her head, another at her chest, and one at each of her arms. As he said the spell, Gabriel felt the drop in energy caused by using magic such as that. He started breathing a little heavier, and sweat started to form on his forehead. The wound on his shoulder probably didn't help either, as it was still causing him quite a bit of pain. |
