Kenshin walk across the path laying within the barren wastes, he has his usual clothes on, the sache various in colors and design, blue undershirt torn acroos half the body, his red bandana which he never takes off and his ripped tousers leading to his worn down boots. He had been walking for about 2 days now, with his sword lent across his neck, some meat slung over his shoulder of which he caught before entering this place and a large flask strapped to his hip. It had been a long journey and he found it hard to resist the temptaion of eating the meat right then and there, but it looks as though an even longer walk before he arrives any where. Not knowing a thing about this place before the journey or as of now for that matter, he casually entered this place as though it were just another mere path on his journey even with knowing I doubt he would have taken into much consideration. So far he has managed to stray of the path and be struck by the lightning twice and still hasn't realised it would happen almost every time he stray from the path, thinking the lightening rods are only for decoration. He doesn't know where this journey is leading or what is awaiting him at the end so he just keeps going forward, his instincts told him to go this way so he simply is following it on a whim not questioning it. He has not benn paying attention to the path ahead of him for quite some time now, all he is caring about is trying to ignore his growling stomach, finally in the ed he gives up biting a raw chunk of meat straight from the slaughtered animal and carry on walking along chomping throught it with his sharp teeth. As he is doing this something catches his eye just 20 ft off of the path and begins walking towards it and just gets a few ft past the lightning rods before he realises there was a person on the path walking in the oposite direction. ...Hey! He says bluntly raising his hand waving slightly and still chewing on the meat. |

There was a person on the same path. It was enough to make Tarosy turn heel and go back the way she'd come. But she'd come so far now, she'd made it too far to turn around now. What exactly it was, she didn't know, but then, there was a lot she didn't know. It appeared human-like, but that told her little. Whatever it was, it could be dangerous, it could be threatening it could- "Hey!" The voice broke through the silence, a crash of thunder following. A flash of lightning hit one of the rods lining the path near her, illuminating the path ahead, as well as the person who had called out. She flinched. The light was bright, too bright. Taro took a step back, covering her eyes. She hadn't quite known what she had gotten into when she'd entered the plains. She guessed there to be a reason the rods lined the path, but she hadn't truly but two and two together till just then. She vaguely remembered flashes of light when she'd been walking earlier, and cursed herself for not making the connection. But now she had something more to worry about- the random person calling out. The flash of light gone, she'd missed her chance to see exactly what they looked like. Was he, assuming it was a he, an elf or a human? There weren't more than that, were there? Shoot Now she could seriously be in trouble. What if she didn't know what this person was? What if they were someone, or something, extremely... anything? Taro didn't want to think about that, or anything else at the moment. All that mattered was getting around this person as painfully and easily as possible, and the simplest way seemed to just ignore them. They were off the path, if she ran, maybe- no. If she ran, they'd think she was some kind of enemy. Running was not an option. Walking past and pretending not to hear seemed like a good idea as well, until she remembered that it could be taken as an insult. Guess I'm left with one option. She muttered to herself, lifting her cloaked head and turning to face the person off the path. It was nearly a minute after he called out that she decided to call back. "Hey, yourself." She kept her tone carefully neutral, hoping she hadn't already incited a fight. |

Kenshin wasn't any form of violent person, infact unless you pissed him off seriously by attcking him with spite, hate or in a non joking manner he wouldn't touch you, his freedom loving wolf nature basically forbid it unless really necessary, but others arn't to know really are they all they see is the slightly scarred and large built man infront of them and he failed to see this. She seemed held back and an almost nervous scent about her, it may be something to do with finding some one out in these desolate and mercyless plains or the fact a bolt of lightning hit a rob right next to the woman. The only way he could tell it was a woman was because of the fact that they are almost impossible to read by scent, their emotions being so confusing to him unlike the male counter part who keeps it fairly straight forward. As the lightning strikes and releases a large flash of whiteness he sheilds his eyes in an effort to prevent any form of damage to his sight. He wasn't in the mood for trying to tell what race it was she belonged to "leave it to chance" he thought, as he may not even talk to her for long... if at all, he knew anyone walking along this path would probably be busy and walk straight past him, as if anything else ever happened to him. Little to his surprise because of the delay it took between the greeting and responce she answered back with a held back hey, finally he may be able to meet someone and have an actual pleasant conversation, this kind of excited him and almost felt like his birthday in a sense. She revealed her face from underneath her cloak and he replies with. "What brings you out here?" |

Taro shook her head violently, sending strands of hair flying. She tucked stray pieces behind her ears, and looked to the stranger with dark red eyes. What a question to ask, and Tarosy was easily without an answer. How much did you tell a perfect stranger when you chanced upon them on a lonely road? Certainly not the whole story, and indefinitely not a lie, so what? Her story wasn't a pretty one, and hardly breaking ice material. As the thought crossed her mind, she almost couldn't hold back a smirk. Breaking the ice, haha. "I could ask the same of you." Ended up being her wary response, As far as she could tell, he wasn't an elf, and not quite human. There was something about him that just radiated something else. But there was no way for her to describe it, no way to know other than to wonder, or, of course, ask directly. "If you don't mind my asking, what exactly are you?" Her curiosity would refuse to let her go without asking. It was an undying part of her that she had carried since before she could remember. She ravaged her memories for some sort of idea. She remembered her father saying that she wasn't human, and that she was a combination of something else. She wasn't an elf- elves had no horns, and as it was, two small stubs protruded out from her head, hidden beneath her blue-blond hair. He didn't appear to have horns, but then, if he couldn't see hers, it made sense that she couldn't see his. This is ridiculous. She silently chastised herself, trying to keep her thoughts directed in exactly one direction: survival. |

He face would become slightly more serious with the question of his race, it was always a touchy subject, most people fled others not believe him and just ignore him from that point onward, but the odd few think of it as a cool thing to be. Looking down at her he would say in a soft non agressive voice as though he was almost ashamed. "Don't get worried or anything but I am a Werewolf... but not the blood thirsty story kind so don't be alarmed!" His smile would lift again as it felt like a wieght had been lifted off his chest. Getting back to her first reply, he realised the dumbness of his question, asking someone a reason of which they are out in the middle of nowhere when infact he himself has no actual reason it was kind of ironic. "Haha and about your first question... I guess you got me there, I myself have no idea why I am going this way my instincts just tell me to, besides after 100 years of solitude a long walk is well deserved!" |

Her reaction must not have been what he expected. She blinked, the climax of her her initial reaction, and tilted her head slightly to the side. In truth, she'd lost him at the tenth word, and from there she could only guess. "What is there to be afraid of?" She asked, her voice perfectly level. The word werewolf rung a bell, and Taro tracked it down to fairytales her father used to tell when she was little. She winced at the memory, but got through enough of it to get two and two together. Could the monstrous wolves that could change into humans be what this man claimed to be? Was that what a werewolf was? There was only one way to know. "What, exactly, is a werewolf? Sorry, if I sound idiotic, really, but I honestly don't know." She paused, then added to her question quickly before he could respond. "And why were you alone for a hundred years? And how have you been alive so long?" Her father had been killed before his time, and Taro had never known how old the elf had been when he died. More than that, she was almost envious that he knew. She was human, to some extent, but that wasn't all. She wasn't elven, or full human. Was werewolf her missing piece? Or just another race she'd been kept from knowing? Damn it all. |

Kenshin merely wonders where she has been all this time, even the most clueless of mortals seems to know something about Werewolfs, often placing them to be vicious blood thirsty killers, but that was only a stereo type set by a few Werewolfs with a major lack in self control. She then quickly asks another question not leaving time for reply so he thought he'd decide. "Well you see all full blooded Werewolfs are immortal in the sense that time does not kill us and my reason for seclusion I'd rather it remain with just me if possible." Looking up at her removing his eyes from the floor he seemed to have came back from his little day dream. "And as for what a Werewolf is... well you'll see." As he finish saying this his body begins changing, the muscles rearanging and his clothes tearing as his body expands. The transformation is said to look uncomfortable if not painful but to Kenshin it is rather pleasurable, before long he would stand there in his full Werewolf form, thick fur, large and sharp fangs, menacing claws and a slight change in his presence. He was still Kenshin but now he was more in his primal form, still having control his body merely suggests destruction and violence and he had learned to ignore it. With a drastic change in his voice, it no longer being soft instead rough and deeper he asks her. "Do you see now what a Werewolf is?" |

From his expression, Taro guessed that he thought her ignorant. He was right, but it was far from her choice. Immortal.. As she tried to get her head around the concept, she suddenly realized that the man standing before her had changed- drastically. Furs, height, and claws were added, as well as an almost threatening aura. Now, at least, she knew why werewolves were feared. What she saw before her was nothing less than a creature that could easily be deemed monstrous. And yet, she wasn't afraid, at least, not yet. His voice sent a tremor through her that hit a nerve, or twelve. The hairs on the back of her neck stood up, and every instinct screamed for her to run. But her feet remained rooted in place. Regaining her calm, Taro looked up at the giant thing, dwarfed by its size. "I think so." She replied, quietly, but firmly. Her curiosity was momentarily stifled. It lasted a few seconds longer, until her eyes spotted the shreds of cloth that littered the ground at his feet. She felt her face heat up, and cringed. "So now are you going to walk around without pants, or do you happen to have a spare pair on you, Taro turned her head off to the side, her face turning red. |

She didn't quite seem all that much scared more anxious than anything else and it was to be expected, even the highest level of demon get nervous or awkward when in a presence of a Werewolf. He was impressed at the fact she willed herself to stay so much, since he knew dam well his form was threatening to sat the least after all he towered over her by around a ft, had large fangs made for tearing through flesh and crunching though bone and such a monsterous aura. She then asked her question about whether he would walk around naked or if he had spares. His face would soon change from his regular full fanged grin and peircing eyes, to a somewhat comical dumbstruck demener."...What?" He says in his deep rough tone in it was as inoccent and naive as possible for a Werewolf in full transformation so you would know he actually had no idea and since Kenshin doesn't really plan ahead. Beggining to realise and look around on the floor around him he see the shredded remains of what appeard to be his clothing, so as the actual idiot he was he thught he'd make sure by changing back. The transformation back to his human form was quite a bit faster and looked less painful compared to the Werewolf counterpart. It wasn't long before he was in his Human form once more and the first thing he does is scan down his body to check, seeing himself actually naked he just looks up at her not bothering to cover up but looking embaressed. "Seems as though I will have to!...I kinda forget that happens every time." This was just a sample of his carefree attitude. Besides it wasn't as though he was ashamed he was fairly big built and well toned and lets just say he's well endowed. |

Taro could tell that when his voice returned to normal, that he had shifted back. She tugged at the strings that held her cloak in place, and pulled the dark wrap over her head. "Here." She tossed the cloak behind her, hoping he wasn't too dumbfounded to not catch it. "Unless you'd rather walk around bare, tie it around your waist, or something." Taro turned fully around, her back to his front. It wasn't that she'd never seen a man naked before, she'd run into her father on many occasions when she'd been younger (the elf had hardly been that careless). It was simply that this particular man was a complete and utter stranger-one without any pants on. "So." Tucking loose strands behind her ears trying to find anything to distract her for the moment. Although her thinking had been momentarily interrupted, she still had many more questions about werewolves. "How did you do that? Changing form I mean. Can all werewolves do that?" At that point, she didn't care how stupid the question sounded, or how simple she seemed. True, she could change her form, too. But her change wasn't nearly as drastic as what she'd seen. The growth of wings, horns, a change in eye color and skin was about all there was, not mentioning the few moments of utter obliviousness, followed by the an instinctual power greater than her own free will "And do all werewolves forget that their clothes are going to get shredded when they change?" She meant the last bit as a joke, and thought him easy-going enough to know it on his own. If for some reason he missed that bit, she'd simply explain. After seeing the massive creature he had begun, Tarosy had no wish to engage in any kind of offensive attack. Especially if he was completely bare- it would make playing fair incredibly difficult. |

Not really knowing what the cloak was for he didn't react letting it hit his abs adn fall to the ground, she then explained the reason for the cloak and that he could either walk around naked still or put that on, he'd bi lieing if he said it was a no brainer after all he did kind of like walking around naked, hell he'd be planning so for quite a while in this heat and he wasn't sure in the fact that if he wore it like a skirt would that make him a cross dresser? As he stand on the spot thinking upon this set of wierd strange dilemas the girl turns around and slowly eases in more questions, this one was a curious one, but nice none the less after all she was willing to give up part of her clothing so that he may be covered and turning her back to him a thing of which most people would never do under any circumstances. He liked her already. Forgetting about the claok for the time being he decided to answer her questions. "Well I do not know how it was I did that and the only way I could describe it would be that I searched through my soul and brought out my primal urges and simply aoke them, other than that I would have to put it down to genes." He'd say after taking a short pause to try and decribe the feeling. "But yes all Werewolfs have this form, but some have other forms as well!" He would say as if he knew first hand about this, after all he could transform into a regular every day wolf. Her final question was more of a sarcastic joke causing him to laugh a little. "Only for the breed known as dumb asses... But if you want I could show you one of these other forms?" All this time still remaining naked he didn't realise nor did he care if some one he hated saw him naked he wouldnt like it. "Ohh by the way I'm Kenshin Hibiri, nice to meet you!" |

It was unnerving to have her back turned to the werewolf, as he called himself. It went against just about every bit of knowledge of defense Taro knew. You never turned your back on your enemy. But this wolf wasn't necessarily here enemy, was he? He had yet to so much as be aggressive- he had nothing at fault. Yet. She had no reason yet to think him dangerous, besides that other form. He'd been more than accomodating so far in answering her questions, perfectly patient. From his vague, yet incredibly helpful description, it was easy to think that it was exactly the same hers was. But his- wasn't it painful? Didn't all of those changes, all of those rips and tears and sudden growth- how could it not hurt him? Before she could ask, he added the bit about other forms. That, itself, was amazing. One form, and another. And then another completely separate from the other two. Was it really possible? Taro had to resist turning around now, wanting to ask her questions to his face. And then, she was laughing, a quiet little laugh at his dumb-ass remark. "Nice to meet you too." She got out, purposefully not dropping her own name. "And yes, I'd like that." She added, wondering what other forms he could possibly have. She still didn't turn around- not knowing whether or not he had, or hadn't covered himself. She didn't know what werewolves thought of different things- she'd only just been granted the gift of knowing their existence. For all she knew, it was common and normal for them to walk around in the nude. "What are your other forms?" Taro rested her hands behind her back in an action that was so much of a habit now. Her left hand clasped her right wrist firmly as she looked off over the path and towards the blackened plains. In the dim, almost non-existent light, it was hard to see all that far. Just as she blinked, a flash of lightning struck the rod inches to her left and front, flashing brightly. The rod glowed a soft blue before returning to its normal steel color. The flash left dots of color in her vision, and Taro tried blinking them away to no avail. "And I'm Tarosy Miaro." |

So far she had been more than trusting of him, of course she was wary of his werewolf form but there was many that wasn't after all a deep breathing 7ft beast infront of you doess't really mean good things when you think about it. Also the girl seemed to be shy about him being naked, he saw no problem with his nakedness someimes it would be months before he got clothes and besides being naked felt way better than with clothes. He stood there waiting for her reply in the matter if she wants to see his other form, it wasn't all that special but he was the form of werewolf that was more in tune with nature, they can be rare the two others being more in tune with the human side or the actual innner werewolf are quite a bit more common than kenshin's type. There are only a few differences between the three types being that kenshin's type have basic abilities and an actual wolf form, the werewolf type has more destructive powers that rely on their werewolf form and the final being more human like, their abilities are more advanced but they do not rely on their werewolf form so much. As soon as he hears her interestin his other form he begins to transform, this transformation looked way less painful to others but really it wasn't as satisfying as his werewolf form is, but that was all made up for when you hear the sound of nature through the wolfs keen and some what fluffy ears. Like always he turned into a adolesent wolf, they had just enough youth to enjoy them selfs but enough age to let loose on their own, he looked rather like a scruffy pedigre dog his bone structure was firm and reinforced while his fur was kind of scruffy it was short and smooth with a nice white and grey color to it. All he would do to simply get her attention is sit there and bark with a deep echoeing tone with his tail wagging. Of course he could talk and understand humans its just the fact that doing it creeped himself out it was not natural and he didn't like it much infact it was rare for him to speak while in this form. |

"Kenshin?" The confusion is her voice was evident as she turned, still trying to get the blots of color out of her vision. What she saw before her was no longer human looking in any way. It was a wolf, a bit smaller than full grown. He was a lovely light grey color, like a baby bunny's. Without even thinking, Taro reached for his head, scratching him behind the ear like she would do with any cat, or dog. When she realized what she was doing, she pulled her hand back sharply. "Sorry." She gave him a look, as if she was trying to see through him to the other side. "You're really a wolf, aren't you." Without waiting for a response, she knelt down in front of him, sitting on her knees. Staring at him for what seemed like a long time, Taro couldn't wrap her head around the possibility that he could change not only bits and pieces of appearance, but his entire form. It was truly amazing. More tentatively, Taro reached towards him again, petting and rubbing the spot between his nose and eyes. And then she heard the rustle, and she froze, her entire body feeling frozen. Every instinct told her to get up and run, but the more logical part of her keep Taro calm. She turned towards the sound, and was more than relieved to see that the rustle had been completely harmless. The cloak that she'd given him had simply been tossed by the wind, and was now sitting several inches beyond the limit of the lightning rods. "My cloak." She murmured absently, raising herself up. She took a single step towards it and again stood still, hearing the crazed howl of another wolf. She turned towards Kenshin, but it should have been painfully apparent that he wasn't the wolf making the sound. Ill at ease, Tarosy reached out for the dark piece of clothing. She only remembered too late that there was a reason these plains had the name they were given. As soon as he hand wrapped around the cloth, a bolt streaked from the sky and down towards its target. The bolt hit her hand, and the shock waves spread quickly through the rest of her body. Stunned, Taro fell off to the side, but safely within the protection of the lightning rods. |

He didn't mind all that much when people treat him as they would a pet as long as there was no traces of malice or other wise in their actions. It was normally quite easy to tell the difference there was a slight difference in their presence and their actions would seem to be stiffer and somewhat seem to be chained down by something. He didn't see any of this within her actions so he would let her scratch behind the ear, she went straight for the perfect place really, but his mind couldn't help but wander as his tail wag even more frantically, there had been some other feeling almost like another faint presence not too far away but it wasn't for certain. She would soon stop after realising her actions herself and apologise to him as though she thought she was in the wrong and then go on to give him a somewhat rhetorical question asking if he was really a wolf and because of his mischievious nature he couldn't help but mess with her, the first time a human hears a wolf speak was priceless and was well worth wierding himself out jus to see it. "Why yes it would appear so!" As he say this she was petting him and for some reason went to pick up her cloak, readying himself to warn her of the danger he hears the howl of another wolf/werewolf and becomes distracted. The next thing he knew she had been struck by lightning her body was used to create some form of chain and were it not for the lightning rods he would have been struck himself, he would turn into his human form as quickly as possible and rush to help herdragging her back onto the path again where it was safe, there was the saying "lightning never strikes twice" but obviously they made that saying before discovering this place. In a desperate effort to help her Kenshin doesn't even bother thinking of getting dressed and takes what ever water he had and splashed it on her to cool her off a little saving some for her to drink, she had a tough body her must say that she only had minor burns on her body, so he begin bandaging her wounds and waiting for her to wake. |
