From Aug 2006 - Nov 2013 WeDig provided a live forum for diggers & fans of Vindolanda. It has now been mothballed and will be maintained as a live archive.

Here you will find preserved 7 years of conversation, photos, & knowledge about a site many people love. Vindolanda gets under the skin. (Figuratively and literally as a volunteer excavator!) It's a place you remember, filled with people you remember!

Thanks for 7 great years!

The 2009 Excavations Seaon
The Excavation season opens for 2009 tomorrow with Justin's first team.

Both Justin and I are looking forward to what we hope will be another fantastic year for the excavations and we are both looking forward to meeting those of you who can join us once more. The excavations are now pretty much fully booked, however, we will leave the website up this year and any vacancies that appear through cancellations etc will go on to the website, so keep your eyes on that if you have not booked in to join us already.

all the best,

Andrew
