From Aug 2006 - Nov 2013 WeDig provided a live forum for diggers & fans of Vindolanda. It has now been mothballed and will be maintained as a live archive.

Here you will find preserved 7 years of conversation, photos, & knowledge about a site many people love. Vindolanda gets under the skin. (Figuratively and literally as a volunteer excavator!) It's a place you remember, filled with people you remember!

Thanks for 7 great years!

Calendar find
What an amazing find!

We're hoping to visit on Thursday, so see if you can find us any more nice things while we're there!

When in the autumn will the calendar go on display so I can come and have look?

Bonekickers!..
So you don't see it attracting hordes of people to volunteer next year then? Or do you expect them to come along and find amazing things?
Has anyone seen the advert for T-mobile with the archaelogists discarding amphorae etc in favour of looking for more free minutes? Think its T-mobile, but it could be something else.. <_<

Bonekickers!..
Are you quite sure you DIDN'T mention it, thus creating an urban myth picked up on by writers for the BBC?! :D
Sadly I have missed all of the episodes due to rehearsals and meetings and cannot bring myself to download any of them on BBC I-Player. My computer does weird thing every time I try!

Fundraising Possibility
Well I'll give you plenty of warning that next year is scheduled for Sunday 28th June!

Bonekickers!..
Some of the reader comments are pretty interesting too.

I confess I haven't watched it at all yet, so must reserve judegement until I do. Having seen the adverts on TV and reading the Radio Times doesn't give me much hope though...

Fundraising Possibility
Well I managed to raise the grand total of 33, so thanks to anyone who bought tickets.
I hope to do the same next year. watch this space!

Friend's evening.
Well you should have been at our charity concert at the liverpool Philharmonic Hall then!
I raised 33 on ticket sales - enough for a shoe and a bit! :D
