From Aug 2006 - Nov 2013 WeDig provided a live forum for diggers & fans of Vindolanda. It has now been mothballed and will be maintained as a live archive.

Here you will find preserved 7 years of conversation, photos, & knowledge about a site many people love. Vindolanda gets under the skin. (Figuratively and literally as a volunteer excavator!) It's a place you remember, filled with people you remember!

Thanks for 7 great years!

SHOWING TODAY IN THE U.S.A. – Oct. 20, 2011 - On Nat Geo Channel
A body is found beneath the floor of an army barracks in the north of England. At first they think it is a monkey. Then they realize it is a child, possibly bound with blunt force trauma to the head. It’s murder. And justice must be done. A homicide detective and forensic scientists are summoned to investigate. The only problem… the child died 1800 years ago. And the last words they said were probably in Latin.

8 pm – Thursday, Oct. 20 – National Geographic Channel

Also, 11 pm – Thursday, Oct. 20. (Conveniently after World Series Game #2)
