Warehouse/granary floor. The cobble stones, used to fill subsidence in the earlier flagged floor, are cleaned, photographed and ready to be removed down to the stone flags. (3rd July)

Thanks Harry you fixed it! :)

The subsided flagged floor, cleaned and ready to be removed. The broken flags removed, were thinner than those used on the east granary building and there’s no sign of any supporting walls or pillar structure. (8th July)

Unbelievable! The flagstones still holding true and everything. Great pics.

And are you suggesting Anthea is older than dirt?? Might have to drop an anonymous e-mail or two.

Would I suggest such a thing especially as Anthea and I were born in the same hospital, at different times I must add? No I am not going to tell you who was first but we both do passable South Staffordshire accents. Don't you dare suggest we are Brummies!!!

 :D

Great to see under those cobbles that I, and several others, spent days exposing and cleaning.

Also, ab fab to see under the floor. I was wondering what it would be like. Must get a weekend pass and shuffle on up to see the latest. I miss the pics - wish they would come in daily!
