Brilliant pics Terry thanks.
I did promise to send some, but mine are nothing like as good as yours.
My patch was nos. 5 & 6 on the 3rd set of photos. Interesting but not easy to interpret, probably just foundations for the repairing of the road.
Looking forward to seeing what has happened to it in August.

Really great to be able to see progress from week 6 and 7 - thanks for all photos and wow what a great piece of Samian found by Anthea. So much of it. Can't wait to see progress first hand on my next visit.

It was pretty amazing, although it was John and Gina who were working on it initially and I was coopted in on my last day!

Good job I was there that week as I was only home for 6 hours last Saturday before I scalded my self with a hot cup of tea and put myself in the regional burns unit for a week with 2nd degree burns to legs and torso! Oops!

Hard to believe all the potential dangers of digging/carrying/using heavy equipment and its a mere cuppa that hospitalised me! :'(

Thanks Gina

Not sure what is worse - the pain from the burns or the embarraament at being hospitalised by a cup of tea! Think it is probably the latter!
