The Vindolanda Trust is proud to announce the 2012 lecture programme. We are delighted to welcome a number of experts in their field who have volunteered to give the below lectures during 2012. April 24th – Jacqui Huntley – “Grain, hay and horses: some recent environmental work at Vindolanda” May 30th – Prof. Ian Haynes – 'Excavations at Roman Maryport, 2011: Rethinking the story of the Maryport Altars' *** Tickets still available - contact Colin *** June 26th – Dr Rob Collins – “Hadrian's Wall: A Post-Roman Corridor of Power” July 31st – Alex Meyer – “Ethnic groups in the Roman Military Communities of Northern Britain” Aug 28th – Dr Trudi Buck – “Not from around here: The human remains from Vindolanda” The above lectures will take place at the Hamilton-Scott Learning Roomwithin the Hedley Building from 1900-2000 on specified dates Tickets £ 10.00 per lecture £7.50 Friends of Vindolanda Contact – colingalloway@vindolanda.com Tel: 01434 344277 Edited by ColinG, Apr 26 2012, 07:53 AM.
