Steve Hunger found 'em on brushhugs, but said that he couldn't establish a pattern...Anywhere from 8" to 8' Brent caught a few on topwater early - didn't hear how he caught the rest. Ron and I struggled. I missed a nice one first thing on a frog - took it down and moved the line, but only had it by the leg. Ron caught one on a chart buzzbait, one on a white/chart fluke, and one cranking a shallow running white crankbait. I had a few bites right in the weeds flipping a junebug beaver, but I missed most of them and the one good bite I had came off.(damnitall) So, not sure what to do for NCCC...it might be that 6 boats fishing for limits is the way to go.
