Thanks Jim. I think I'll give some of those BMF hooks a try...and will compare them w/ some EC's when BPS opens up. I steer clear of Owners now because of brittleness issues - haven't seen it w/ Gammies, but it makes sense. You can only abuse metal so much. I ordered a pack of those BMF barbs to see if they help keeping the baits on(had trouble before w/ straight shanks - lures kept falling off). Even if they work, I won't order them again - they're just heat-shrink tubing with one side cut into a point with scissors. Hello Lowes. |
