I think Mike and I spent too much time beating to death this one stretch where we thought there were active fish - probably the wrong species. When I think back, we both got bit a little further down past that area. I've been switching between fluoro and braid for flipping. I had the same issues with braid on rocks, so I thought that pure fluoro would be fine. The problem I have with pure fluoro is that after a few trips, it gets coiled up so you can't watch your line as well and it starts to feel more brittle. Darn stuff is too pricey to be switching it out all the time. I'll give that Tony Pena knot a try. Thanks again.
