Advanced Member Posts: 236 Group: Members Member #3 Joined: April 8, 2008	last sat tracy bass started for 2008 i would say it was a good day on the delta. camryn & I came in 6th with 14 & some change 16 & change won it. we had our small limit in the first hour then a few upgrades big fish went 3.89. we caught forty to fifty fish in the six hour event but couldnt get that kicker fish . topwater over grass & tubes in 10 to 18 feet outside weed line if your fishing sunday you better fill up your tanks unless your on good fish down south. we caught a bunch of fish south but they were rats go north for size. Good Luck. if I dont see you on sunday.

Delta Grasshopper Posts: 59 Group: Members Member #10 Joined: September 21, 2008	I can verify the rats down south. I went out on Sunday to look for new water in middle river. There were plenty of small fish on poppers. I had one decent one around 3lbs on a chatterbait - outside edge of the weedline, about 8'. My backseater caught a number of little ones w/ a 6" MM. I caught a few on jigs and beavers, all on the outside of the weeds about 8-10'. My best bite was right around midday towards the end of the outgoing tide.(do figure) I haven't been able to find any decent size the last couple of weeks...Do the fish up north turn on earlier (fall bite) or am I just fishing in the wrong spots?

He had one good bite--- bite in the ass that is the merc took a crap again you need to start sending merc nasty emails over and over till they replace it f--ck fixing it every time they fix it something els breaks, you just got a bad motor.
