Trevor Cogger was an Australian rugby league player who played 160 first grade games in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership with the Western Suburbs Magpies, the fifth most capped player for the club. He also holds the club record for most appearances in all grades (306).

He made his surprise debut in 1981 after being called to the sheds while eating a meat pie & relaxing, having just completed a lower grade game. Though Wests had limited success during the eighties, Cogger scored 48 tries & amassed 190 points throughout his career in 1st grade, playing mostly halfback or five-eighth.

Trevor scored a total of 88 tries for the club through all the grades.

His long career ended on a high note, coach Warren Ryan selecting him to play centre in the semi-finals in 1991, Wests first appearance since 1982.

Trevor Cogger scored the last ever try in a first grade match at Lidcombe Oval in 1986. Interestingly enough not in the last ever first grade match Western Suburbs played their against Eastern Suburbs as no tries were scored in that game. But in the second last match Western Suburbs played their against Illawarra on August 10 1986

Cogger holds the record for most appearances for the Club in all grades (308) and has scored the most tries (88) having played half back or five eighth throughout a career spanning a decade- 1981 to 1991.

Cogger’s first first grade game followed him playing in an earlier lower grade game when he was recalled to the dressing room after he had been seen on the hill relaxing with his mates and allegedly eating a pie. Cogger scored two tries in this match in an unexpected win for the Magpies.

In 2010 Trevor Cogger was entered into the Western Suburbs Magpies Hall of Fame.
