In 1986, Andrew played in the Grand Final against Parramatta, playing on the wing.

In 1987, Andrew continued to play a key role before playing in the 1988 Premiership winning team as a centre against Balmain.

In 1989 and 1990, Andrew provided good service to the club but in 1991, Andrew joined Western Suburbs to play 43 games from 1991 to 1992.

After playing a season with Wigan, Andrew returned to play 22 games for Illawarra in 1994.
