I didn't say I was making a banner ! I'm sitting in the caviar sections at WT games now due to season tickets not been flexible and I'm not making a banner to parade in front of 24 people at stand alone Magpies games.

I've still got two banners from last year that I need to offload to someone.

Sorry to interject gents, but the term 'stand alone' home games gets under my skin. The Football club isn't standing alone against anyone. The Football club is in existence. The term 'stand alone' was used in the 1998-99 period of the game when the Magpies where embattled with a up hill fight against News Ltd. to remain a single entity for the rationalised NRL competition beyond 2000. The Western Suburbs Football Club is still living, kicking and breathing and at present has no pressure from any governing body or rich financial benefactor wishing to destory it's existence.

Sorry to get on the soap box, but as a Magpie who embraces all levels of the game that Wests is represented in from Harold Matthew's to the NRL, 'stand alone' sends a direct threat to the NRL representative of this Football Club's investment, which is almost an insult. I believe the correct term is now NSW Cup Games, not Stand Alone Games. Because to me, Wests is Wests in whatever shape or form.

As for the banners, can't wait to see them at Junior Reps, NSW Cup, NYC and NRL fixtures. Brand Awareness will be out in force!!! Turning up to a Wests Tigers game and seeing big proud Magpies amongst the Wests Tigers Fanatic's will bring back fond memories of the Magpie Army that used to gather in force on the Hill at Orana/Campbelltown.

Bring back the MAGPIE POWER Banner! Let's resurrect the good ol' sign.

Exactly. Wests are Wests!

Just building some pride in the Wests side of the joint venture that stretches from the Juniors to the NRL and beyond! :correct:

Right on Graeme!! And just because the animalistic nature is represented as a Tiger in the NRL doesn't mean that a few Magpie banner's can't be portrayed and presented. Heck, i think an extra injection of Black And White with the proud tough Black and White Bird would only enhance and compliment the Wests Tigers Fanatic's! Giving them a touch of class ;) 4 sleeps to go....

Forget about the political correctness and just do it. This is our centenary year and it deserves to be out there for all to see. We are proud of our heritage aren't we ? Then why not show it ? The last time I looked we still have a union jack in our national flag don't we?

Be loud and proud to show who we are and where we have come from and don't worry about the political correctness of the WT fans. I still love to see the old banners as well and anything that links back to when the Maggies were still in the big time.

Here Here!! Let's get the Magpie Banners, and Black and White Flags back out in the Game. The Steelers fans do it, the Brisbane Bears fans do it in the AFL, what's stopping us Magpies B)

Can't wait to see the banner's Graeme and Craig! Will surely stand out amongst the fanatics and army. What a great sight it will be.

I wouldn't mind a quote still if you could. If its a super price we might decide to add another banner to the fold.

But we ended up rushing this one in hope it would be done by Round 1.

I made a big banner at the end of last year. It's like 5m wide and 2m in height. I have finally got the 2 poles for it now
