Due to our current webmaster Graeme's impending relocation the Magpies need someone with good website development and administration skills to replace Greame as the webmaster of our site westsmagpies.net and the associated forum.

Graeme hopes to be able to continue to assist after his initial settling in period, and I will also be available to help our new webmaster as much as I can.

If you think this could be a great way for you to combine your passion for the internet with your passion for the Magpies please email me at andrew_waite@westsmagies.net.

Sorry your post got lost in the internet black hole ianse. The problem should be fixed now.

If you are genuinely interested then skills can be learned, and you'll have some people around to help. It does require a pretty serious time commitment though. Maybe have a chat to galahs if you are interested.

If not don't worry, we have plenty of other jobs that you might like instead ;)

Even some help on the forum would be appreciated. As you may have noticed there was a deliberate move to having the majority of the Magpies content on the forum for this very reason. Considering we don;'t have a full time media manager, it makes it easier for others to help out in providing information.

The 2nd benefit is no website (html) skills are required. If you can use the forum, and you can use a word processor, you're half way there.

Now that the forum is basically established, and most teething problems have been overcome, now its just a case of keeping it updated with the latest news, team lineups, results etc.

Even if we can get someone to copy and paste relevant Wests Tigers press releases and match reports from the Wests Tigers website that would be a great help.

Also I'd ask for those that go to the games to just jot down the scores and add them to the forum after the weekends games.

After I settle in to my new place, I am sure I can find time to take on some of my previous roles (the more technical bits) but being so far away will make it hard to keep right up-to-date with current news, results etc etc
