How good is that? I'll be keeping an eye out for the replay this afternoon on Fox Sports. I think it's usually around 5 or 6pm. Tommy Terrific - Magpie Legend. |

It's worth watching Gobbsy ............ he was just so competitive and intense and passionate about his football and particularly the Magpie Jersey and the rep jerseys he wore. Everything he says is positive ....... nothing negative. He even admitted to not coaching by the rule book  |

Priceless. Long live Tommy. Western Suburbs might not have won illustrious Premierships back to back like some other clubs, but there's one thing the Football club has managed to provide Rugby League with and that's the greatest characters that the game has ever seen. Little Arthur, 'Ned' Kelly, 'Dallas' Donnelly and 'Tommy Terrific' are just a handful of names that come to mind when thinking about great Rugby League characters. Tommy's love for the game was purely based on toughness. He says it time and time again, but like us, the fans, he'd love nothing more than to see a good old softening up period in all games and especially 'Origin' time ![]() Tom Raudonikis, possible the greatest 'Magpie' of them all. I love the passion he conveys when talking about Western Suburbs how he believes the colt following the Magpies took on was due to that fact that many could connect and feel as if the Wests club was representing the battler's, the underdogs, the little people doing it tough. They found solace through the Magpies taking it to the richer clubs and wealthier communities. It didn't matter if you were from Parramatta, Penrith way as Tommy believed that there was always a little bit of Western Suburbs in everyone. And how true is that. Everyone i know, has always had a soft spot for the Maggies. And that's what makes Western Suburbs the Football Club it is. |

Was even better when he was the © of your local team, he was like a spiritual leader, and his disciples in Dallas, Boyd, Dorahy & co made you proud for them to represent your area, its what tribalism was all about. Half the businesses had WS in their name "Western Suburbs glass co" "Western Suburbs Hospital" The local school adopted the colours. You got chosen cause you resided there. |
