Indeed well done.

I was getting worried there that no Magpies were going to be selected.

What an accolade and what a prestigous representation for this Football club to have a player named in Rugby League's Team of the Century. It seriously does not get any bigger than that. Congratulations Noel 'Ned' Kelly. He'd be one very proud Magpie right now.

Yes, a truly great honour for Noel Kelly and the Mighty Magpies.

I think I may have one up on a lot of you guys in here as I actually witnessed a lot of Noel Kelly's games "Live" and loved every moment of it too.

What a player... He never knew what "Backward step" meant. There was none of this "King Hit" crap. He was one of the toughest roughest footballers I have ever seen.

It's a pity we can't clone him.

Congratulation Noel Kelly, a living Magpie legend.

I've heard Vic Hey described very highly - any one got an opinion?

All the old timers reckoned he was a freak. Was rated amongst the best ever by a lot of good judges back in the day (and even to this day). He would have been the only 5/8 other than Bozo and Wally to be seriously considered for the TOTC. Not bad for a guy no current judges would have seen and who spent the bulk of his career in England.

I reckon he sits on the highest branch of the Magpie tree alongside Ned, Yappy and Tommy.

On the Wests Magpies Team Of The Century disks, Rick Wayde interviewed Wests great Jimmy Sharman to give his views on players who made the team. His perception of Vic Hey was that he was the greatest player who ever lived.
